I have decided to start a new weekly post called Interesting Animals.

I will write down an animal and you can comment on a story of facts about that animal.

This week’s animal is dolphins. You might have realised that I LOVE dolphins.

1. It is normally said that killer whales are whales, but they are actually members of the dolphin family.

2. The scientific name for the dolphin is the tursiops truncatus.

3. Dolphins sleep with one eye closed and the other watching out for predators.
